NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE... In celebration of Men's Month, Editor-in-chief, Coach Mea Allman shares a powerful cover story entitled “The Power of Therapy: Men's Mental Health," featuring Dr. Jason Prendergast who delves into the critical topic of Mental Health, and how men often struggle to seek help for themselves due to societal stigmas around masculinity and the perception that showing vulnerability is a sign of weakness or feeling embarrassed of mental challenges and neglect the importance of our emotional and psychological well-being, but the truth is, our mental health is just as vital as our physical health. Our new contributing writers, Nancy Fong-Edwards, APRN, FNP-BC shine a spotlight on the unique challenges to understand the state of mental health in Jamaica, and Dr. Catinia Farrington shares her insights to unveiling the diagnostic challenges impacting black communities' men face when it comes to their mental and physical health and offer practical advice for taking a more proactive approach to self-care and how to cultivate a healthier mindset. All of these and much more.

Karibbean Under One is honored to celebrate "Women of Kulture 365" from cultural diversity who are trailblazers making a difference in their community. We also invest in raising awareness with "Ribbons of Survivors 365" to focus on various cases that are impacting and affecting Caribbean Americans and people of color, and their families.
